Also featured is a round up of the Archaeology of Salt in Ireland Project, entitled ‘Salt of the Earth, Salt of the Sea’. In it we trace the evidence for salt-making in the country from earliest times and present findings from the project, including the national survey and Ballycastle excavations.

Many thanks to Archaeology Ireland for featuring our work and congratulations on your 30 years of promoting the work of a diverse range of archaeological contributors in an attractive and highly engaging format!
